The Sagitta is a design of Richard Woods, a British multihull designer. The first Sagitta touched the water in July 1991. The Sagitta
is a so-called ‘performance cruiser’, which means that you can sail it with the family and still be fast. Sagitta’s are successful
in competition and have undertook long journeys.
The Sagitta can be built in GRP or as woodcore-epoxy. Than there is the choice between daggerboards or LAR-keels. Our Sagitta
‘Glatisant’ is a woodcore boat with daggerboards, which improves the upwind performance. Sagitta’s with keels can be equipped
with diesel-engines (one per hull). Glatisant has one outboard engine (less weight!), that is made steerable with the rudders. That
makes the boat easily stearible (e.g.: turning with 6 Bf tailwind in a 20 mtr wide harbour).
